• Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption (https): Secure user logins and management functions, content upload and download, registrations, scheduling, and other transactions.
• Advanced Encryption Standard (AES): Secure text chat, images, audio, video, application sharing data, PowerPoint presentation slides, and other in-session information.

When combined with SSL for front-end communications, iLinc's use of AES represents the latest standard in encryption technology to provide an entirely secure and yet very efficient method for encrypting data and transactions.

The iLinc software implements AES in a unique fashion that leads the industry in security and efficiency:

• All real-time communications data is encrypted with a key by the end user prior to being placed on the network.
• The key for this encryption is secured again using SSL when downloaded from the server.
• The key is used to encrypt all live session data, which is then passed through the server without decryption, to other end users in live sessions, where it is decrypted and played or displayed.
